Enlighten Analytics Recognized By CARF International

Centerstone Research Institute’s business intelligence platform acknowledged with second consecutive exemplary commendation from international accreditation organization

Centerstone Research Institute (CRI), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving behavioral healthcare through research and information technology, recently announced that Centerstone received exemplary commendation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International because of its utilization of Enlighten Analytics, a business intelligence tool.

Enlighten Analytics received this recognition as part of the rigorous peer-review CARF accreditation process undertaken by CRI, Centerstone of Tennessee and Centerstone of Indiana.

“We are honored that Enlighten Analytics received special recognition from CARF International,” said Tom Doub, PhD, CEO of Centerstone Research Institute. “We developed Enlighten Analytics to fill a significant void in behavioral healthcare and help providers make use of the data they collect each day. This platform has been proven to help behavioral healthcare providers achieve significant operational improvements, reduce costs and enhance patient care.”

Created by CRI, Enlighten Analytics is an innovative, interactive, easy-to-use healthcare analytics platform. It captures revenue, cost, productivity and quality outcomes data collected by healthcare providers and reports it in simple-to-interpret charts and graphs. This advanced tool effectively turns massive amounts of complex data into meaningful, actionable information. Enlighten Analytics has helped organizations achieve significant operational and clinical milestones including:

  • increases in revenue;
  • improvement in treatment plan compliance;
  • increases in the average time clinicians are able to spend with patients; and
  • Enhanced incorporation of a practice-based evidence approach to treating patients, which allows for highly personalized care.

CARF also recognized CRI for its leading research evaluation methods that demonstrate the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of services provided to Centerstone clients in Tennessee and Indiana.

CARF is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of the persons served. Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, and now known as CARF, the accrediting body establishes consumer-focused standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality of their programs and services.

In addition to receiving commendation from CARF, Enlighten Analytics has been recognized by the IBM Smarter Planet Series and The Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI) for exemplary healthcare data analytics tools that promote data-driven decision-making and improve quality of behavioral healthcare services across the United States.
