The Office of Civil Rights (OCR), which has authority for enforcing HIPAA privacy and security, states that a Risk Analysis is critical to demonstrating compliance and is required under the Meaningful Use provisions of HITECH. CynergisTek will work remotely with hospital staff via person-to-person teleconferences, web conferences and secure portals, to review, analyze, test, document and make security recommendations.
