FormFast Announces Webinar Exploring The Value Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Delivers To Hospitals
May 13, 2010
Independent research analyst Craig LeClair will explore the SharePoint interactive platform and its compatibility with the FormFast enterprise workflow solution
FormFast, a leading provider of enterprise workflow solutions, recently announced a Webinar focusing on the benefits that Microsoft SharePoint 2010 offers to hospitals. The hour-long session, titled "An Analyst's Perspective: SharePoint 2010 – What Value Does It Bring to Hospitals," will be held at 11 a.m. (CDT) Tuesday, May 25.
Microsoft SharePoint has become a powerful tool for information sharing and collaboration across an enterprise. The push towards Electronic Medical Records will require a host of solutions to streamline and improve processes, which must take hospitals through the evolution from paper- and people-driven models to automated evidence-based, results-driven practices. Microsoft has been committed to engineering the finest products to enable healthcare collaboration and SharePoint, which has the ability to seamlessly connect the numerous departments within hospitals, is no exception.
Guest speaker Craig LeClair, a leading expert on information management and enterprise content management, as well as a principal analyst at Forrester Research, Inc., will lead the Webinar by discussing how Microsoft has offered value to the healthcare IT market with products such as SharePoint, and is offering solutions that support an emerging collaborative nature throughout the healthcare enterprise. In addition, LeClair will provide an analyst's perspective on the upcoming launch of Microsoft's HealthVault Community Connect product, widely anticipated to improve coordination of care, introduced during the 2010 HIMMS conference. The features and functionality of FormFast's workflow automation solutions, and their compatibility with SharePoint for encouraging collaborative and efficient processes, will also be discussed.
"Because innovative methods for information exchange and collaboration are critical in meeting HITECH Act requirements, SharePoint is valuable in its ability to connect departments across the enterprise," says Rob Harding, president and CEO of FormFast. "We are pleased facilitate efforts towards process improvement by operating FormFast workflow automation solutions on a SharePoint platform."
