IntelliSoft Launches IntelliCred Renaissance, Upgrading Its Industry-Leading Medical Credentialing Software Suite

IntelliSoft Aiming To Revolutionize Medical Credentialing With New Package

IntelliSoft Group recently introduced IntelliCred Renaissance, the latest upgrade to its industry-leading medical credentialing software suite. The launch of IntelliCred Renaissance took place at the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) congress in Atlanta. IntelliCred Renaissance will be available for purchase on May 1st.

IntelliCred Renaissance is an automated medical credentialing software package that permits hospitals and other healthcare organizations to conveniently and accurately manage their credentialing and privileging programs. Renaissance is the first software solution to accommodate the unique credentialing needs of different types of healthcare organizations, and offers specific functionality for hospitals, telemedicine organizations, managed care groups, and credentialing verification organizations (CVOs). IntelliCred Renaissance can also be used to integrate quality, privilege, and OPPE/FPPE data.

"IntelliCred Renaissance won't just revolutionize medical credentialing, it will also be an incredibly powerful resource for helping hospitals and other healthcare providers promote quality healthcare," said Mike Melville, president of IntelliSoft. "Healthcare organizations spend billions of dollars every year to improve quality, yet most quality assurance efforts ignore the importance of credentialing. It's incredible that in 2010 most organizations still manage their credentialing efforts manually."

Quality is a vital issue for healthcare organizations for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that it drives reimbursement. This focus on quality will become even more important to healthcare organizations with the passage of healthcare reform, since all of the reform bills under consideration provide tax credits, reimbursement based on outcomes, and other benefits to organizations that can document their delivery of high quality health care. IntelliCred Renaissance provides the necessary tools for providing that documentation.

"IntelliCred Renaissance also raises the bar when it comes to simply, efficiently, and effectively managing an organization's credentialing needs," said Melville. "Ultimately, Renaissance can help hospitals and healthcare systems save thousands of dollars in administrative costs, while dramatically improving the success of their credentialing efforts."

Based in Nashua, New Hampshire, IntelliSoft Group is the leading producer of medical credentialing and provider enrollment software products.
