The appointment of Dr. Friedman, who has served as a U.S. Naval Officer and specialized as an aviation medicine physician, advances Telemedicine Consulting Network and InteractiveMD's commitment to furthering the field in new and impactful ways.

As Medical Director, Dr. Friedman is the leader of the national physician network operating on the InteractiveMD platform, ensuring clinical integrity and quality medical care. He is chiefly responsible for the guidance, oversight, and quality assurance of the practice of telehealth on InteractiveMD's platform. Dr. Friedman will also play a key role in physician recruitment, training, treatment protocol, and performance evaluation, as well as focusing on the advancement of the field as an expert advocate of telehealth.

Most recently, Dr. Friedman was selected for Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy where he served as an active Flight Surgeon. He is a licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University, and currently holds an unrestricted medical license to practice osteopathy and surgery. After concluding his service commitment, Dr. Friedman chose to leave the U.S. Navy in May to accept the Medical Director position.
