In a highly published release of NetApps earnings last year, they were quoted as to the growth in revenue dollars attributed to maintenance (SEM). With their hospital user base feeling the economic pinch, and the needs to upgrade internal procedures to an electronic format, the need also implies the growth of their environment to house the data.

Virtual Procurement Services had an answer to this. By using their services, the hospital system was able to achieve over a 35% reduction in the costs. This savings equaled to close to a quarter million dollars.

This amount of money means new technology can be implemented that was shelved temporarily due to a lack of funding.
