PEPID Partners With Top Publisher McGraw-Hill

PEPID, a top developer of clinical decision-support information and technology for healthcare professionals, has announced a partnership with McGraw-Hill Professional, the leading provider of reference and trade publishing for the medical profession. This partnership will put 27 of the publisher's medical reference guides into electronic format for mobile access.

"We are excited to partner with McGraw-Hill on this project," said John Wagner, PEPID President. "PEPID's mobile technology expertise will make these medical reference guides from McGraw-Hill easily accessed at the point of care."

PEPID will roll out the products over the next nine months, with the final product expected at the end of October.

The first set of books to be released is the Nurse to Nurse series, which provide non-specialist nurses with insights, practical hints and careful guidance from experienced peers in clinical situations. The series includes Wound Care, Dementia Care, Trauma Care, ECG Interpretation, Nursing Management, Palliative Care and Evidence-Based Practice.

Other products to be released include the popular Exam Review guides, which provide a physicians and nurses with a helpful flashcard, question and answer format to help students prepare for their board certification exams. PEPID's intuitive technology will enable users to electronically flip through the study materials anytime and anywhere. In addition, all of these products will be available to be bundled with the traditional PEPID Suites.
