Sometimes it's just too easy. I mean, it's just too easy to find something that is so indicative of our broken systems that these articles just about write themselves. An event comes along that is so egregious in nature that it's impossible to let it pass by without making some kind of comment about it. The Heartland credit card information theft, the Heartland Incident, was one of those events. Over 100 million credit card numbers were stolen right under their PCI-certified noses.
