Radiologists with access to volumetric CT and MR scanners struggle to find the extra time to do the tasks required to accommodate their current systems:
- Comb through noisy thin slices
- Launch a third-party 3-D application for a different viewpoint
- Walk to a separate workstation just to use a different 3-D application
- Ask a technologist to repeat the reconstruction with an alternative slab thickness/angle and resend it
VTRIP is a productivity module that provides adjustable and expandable display protocols that natively display the extra fidelity allowed by volumetric CT and MR within the Horizon Rad Station application.
